On Sunday there was a Yeah Gates bowling excursion in Falls Church featuring members of The Cheniers and Foul Swoops. The deeper we got into that pitcher of beer, the better the scores got. We’ll let you figure out who was representing YEA and who was representing GTS.

Here’s a video from back in November at Black Cat of The Cheniers playing The Clean’s “Billy Two,” managing to fuck up only a few chords - good on us! We love this song very much but might need to stop playing it all the time. Note the audience interaction at the beginning of the video. The Cheniers believe in heckling at all times - whether we are on stage or in the crowd. That said, I will certainly not heckle The Clean when I see them in New York on Friday. I will stand there in silent reverence.
